Wednesday, Feb. 9 The Dawson MS UIL OAP Company performed the Italian Renaissance comedy, Scapino! to a packed house at Grapevine High School during the District 5-A Middle School UIL OAP Contest.
The company competed against middle schools from Carroll, Coppell, Grapevine-Colleyville and Richardson. The students were praised by the panel of distinguished judges for their high energy, enthusiasm, characterization and comedic timing. Results were announced at 10:30 p.m. and the entire company was awarded the 3rd place overall trophy of the festival.

The final public performance of Scapino! will be Friday, Feb. 10, at 7:00 p.m. in the DMS Cafe’. Admission is free.
