New Outdoor-Themed Event from the City of Southlake!

Southlake Parks and Recreation is going outside! Join the City of Southlake in conjunction with the Bob Jones Nature Center as we present Great Outdoor Days.

Great Outdoor Days will be a fun filled two-day event featuring outdoor activities, demonstrations, fishing, camping and a whole lot more. The event will also include the Bob Jones Nature Center Earth Day Celebration, our annual Spring Family Campout and Youth Fishing Day competition. Adults and kids alike will have the opportunity to learn about the variety of outdoor activities in own our backyards like geocaching, disc golf and the local wildlife.

The event will be held on Saturday, April 21st from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Sunday, April 22nd from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Bob Jones Park. So pack up the family and come join the City of Southlake at this new event that encourages everyone to get outdoors, enjoy nature and preserve our environment!
