Lady Dragons Vying For 7-5A Title Tuesday Night

The playoff-bound Carroll Lady Dragons conclude the regular season Tuesday night against Denton Guyer at 6 p.m. at Carroll Senior High School. Carroll is currently tied for first place in district with Keller. If Carroll and Keller both win, they will finish as co-champions of 7-5A and split both head-to-head meetings. Keller faces Fossil Ridge on Tuesday. Carroll can earn an outright title with a victory and Keller loss.

The Lady Dragons (27-3 overall, 12-1 in district) will begin the playoffs next week. The bi-district round of the Class 5A state playoffs begins Monday and Tuesday.

Boys Fighting For Playoff Position
Meanwhile, the Dragons are battling several teams for one of the four playoffs spots in District 7-5A. Carroll is one game behind third place at 5-6 in district with three games remaining. The Dragons host Denton Guyer Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m.  and the Wildcats are 4-7 in district. Carroll hosts Fossil Ridge on Friday and plays at Keller to end the regular season next Tuesday.
