2012 was a banner year for Carroll ISD’s “Dragons Go Red” campaign. In partnership with the American Heart Association, students, faculty and staff participated in various activities aimed at raising heart health awareness during the month of February.
This year, Carroll ISD Administration opened limited-edition “Dragons Go Red” t-shirt sales to students, parents and members of the community. Half of the purchase price of each t-shirt goes to the AHA in support of the organization’s Go Red campaign. Faculty and staff were able to wear jeans with their “Go Red” t-shirts each Wednesday of the month. In addition to t-shirt sales other fundraisers were hosted across the district. Elementary campuses participated in Jump Rope for Heart events; including Rockenbaugh Elementary. Click here to read more. Donations are still being added.
