Relay For Life Southlake wants to make sure children of all ages can participate in this year’s event. Organizers are hosting a meeting for parents who want to learn the best way to get younger children can get involved in Relay. The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, March 21 from 9- 9:45 a.m inside the cafeteria at Rockenbaugh Elementary School.
Meeting topics will include, teaching the concept of Relay and why iRelay, easy ways to raise money and earn $100 towards an individual donation as well as simple ways to participate on the night of Relay. Organizers want to stress time and commitment need not be a burden for parents.
Relay for Life Southlake 2012 will be May 11-12 at Carroll High School. For additional information about the event, click here. There are two team captain meetings remaining before Relay. The next scheduled meeting is Thursday, March 22 at 6:00 p.m. inside the cafeteria at Carroll High School.
