The Carroll Dragon baseball team overcame a 1-2 start in District 7-5A by bouncing back with consecutive victories last week against rival Coppell and Keller Central. The Dragons, who were struggling at the plate, came alive in both victories. Carroll’s offense exploded with a 12-10 win against Coppell and 10-2 victory last Friday at Keller Central. With the hot streak, the Dragons improved to 10-6 overall and 3-2 in 7-5A.
The Dragons return to action Thursday, March 29 at 4 p.m. against Saginaw at Dragon Field. The first 50 fans arriving to the game will receive free Dragon baseball T-shirts. On Saturday, March 31 the Dragons host Flower Mound at 1 p.m. and Carroll will honor veterans before the game.
