Around The Horn: Lady Dragons 3-2 In District Action

The Carroll Lady Dragons’ softball team has produced some big moment this season. Carroll is currently 8-3 and 3-2 in District 7-5A. During the break, the Lady Dragons picked up two non-district victories as they blasted Arlington Martin 10-1 and defeated Kennedale 7-2. The Lady Dragons return to action Tuesday, March 20 as the host Saginaw at 7 p.m. at Bob Jones Park. Carroll plays at Denton Guyer at 7 p.m. Friday. The Lady Dragons enter the week tied with Coppell at 3-2. Three teams lead the district tied at 4-1 (Keller Central, Keller and Denton Guyer).

Dragon Baseball Team Hosts Rival
The Dragon baseball team will look to get back on track Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Dragon Field against rival Coppell. Carroll is 1-2 in District 7-5a and coming off a 3-0 loss last Friday at Northwest. It dropped the Dragons record to 8-6-1 on the season and the Dragons were held to four hits. Earlier last week, Carroll earned a 2-0 shutout at Keller.
