The Dragon Robotics Team from Carroll Senior High finished third at the FTC Southwest Regional Robotics Championship at UT Arlington on Saturday, March 3. The first round of competitions began at 11 a.m. inside the Maverick Activity Center. Elimination matches started at 4:35 p.m. followed by the awards ceremony at 5:45 p.m.  Dragons also took home the Rockwell Collins Innovation Award for the most innovative and creative robot design.

Robotics competitions are like big sporting events. Loud, cheering, and lots of fun and the Dragon Robotics team needs your support! Coach Lind Woessner says the team has a very competitive robot this year and the team is playing to earn a place at the world championships.

Show your support for the Dragon Robotics team by purchasing t-shirts from Mrs. Woessner. The Dragon Robotics Team is sponsored by the Carroll Education Foundation, The Texas Workforce Commission, FIRST in Texas, and Carroll Computer Science Boosters.
