Ohlook's "Pirates" Debuts in New Theatre

Ohlook Performing Arts Senior Master Class recently performed selections from their upcoming musical The Pirates of Penzance, at Southlake’s Green Fest celebration on Saturday March 24. Ohlook’s students, who have been studying with Jill Lord, have come from Southlake, Grapevine, Keller and elsewhere to study performing arts in a rigorous yet welcoming atmosphere since 2002.

The Pirates of Penzance, the classic musical by Gilbert and Sullivan, will open Thursday April 12 at brand new facility at 1631 West Northwest Highway in Grapevine. The audiences at Southlake Green Fest were impressed by the costumes, the pageantry, and the humor of this show, and it looks to be a crowd pleaser. As one parent said, “the kids have been working very hard on this show, and they are excited to be in a new theater. It is going to be very exciting!”

The Pirates of Penzance at Ohlook Performing Arts will run from April 12-15. Tickets and showtimes can be found at www.ohlookperform.com.
