According to Greg Last, Southlake’s Director of Economic Development & Tourism, the guide is intended to highlight the restaurants in Southlake that can accommodate private dining parties, including social functions and business meetings.
“Our intent is to make the guide available to convention visitors at the Hilton in Town Square and other area hotels, as well as corporate groups, to help identify private dining opportunities in the City and encourage them to host events here,” said Last. “We have a great variety of private dining venues to offer in Southlake.”
While supporting convention and meetings business is the primary focus, the participating restaurants also make these facilities available to individuals celebrating special occasions such as a wedding reception, family reunion or birthday party.
Currently, there are twelve restaurants with listings in the Private Dining Guide, which includes photos, pricing, contact information, and a description of the facility and menu:
“We really appreciate the assistance from the Economic Development Department. Being included in the Private Dining Guide provides another way to increase the awareness of our high quality dining services,” said Brandee Sharp, co-owner and manager of Butterfly Restaurant.
The Private Dining Guide is posted online at www.SouthlakeBusinesses.com and www.VisitSouthlakeTexas.com. If you have questions or would like to include your restaurant in the guide, contact the Department of Economic Development & Tourism at 817-748-8039.
