SASO Serves North Texas Military

On Sunday, April 1 Southlake SASO boys served the last luncheon for the USO at DFW International Airport. The boys served 180 departing servicemen, women and their families. SASO mothers also assisted with the luncheon. Organizers also provided goody bags for departing military. SASO members also had an opportunity to sit and talk with the troops.

The event was the third time in the last two months that SASO has served U.S. troops at DFW. The group said they were honored to be selected by the USO to serve this final luncheon.

SASO is a new community service organization started last year in Southlake. Click here to visit their website and learn more.
