Carroll Produces Top Finishes At District 7-5A Track Meet

Courtney Kriegshauser finished first in the 1,600-meter run at the District 7-5A meet in Coppell and qualified for the Class 5A Region I Track and Field meet.

The District 7-5A Track and Field meet at Coppell’s Cowboy Stadium this week produced several Dragons atop the leaderboard. The Lady Dragons track team earned the 7-5A title and the Dragons finished second overall. In all, both teams produced several Region I qualifiers and first-place finishes. The Class 5A Region I Track and Field meet will be held at Texas Tech’s Fuller Track on April 27-28 in Lubbock. The top three finishers in each event qualified for regionals.
