Studio Art House in Southlake Hosts First Friday Gallery Night

Are you in need of creative inspiration? Or have an inner artist dying to be set free? Then head over to Studio Art House on July 6 for its First Friday Gallery Night, a monthly open house for the public to come meet and explore the work of local artists from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The artists to be featured in July are Erica Norwood, Anita Robbins, Pam Flores, Ashley Martin, and the copper art and jewelry of Linda Chidsey.

According to Anita Robbins, artist and creative director of Studio Art House in Southlake, the family-friendly event includes refreshments, live music by the Norwood Twins, and door prizes for art prints, sketchbooks, a free adult lesson, and a free day camp.

“The event offers a chance for artists to showcase their work as well as offering a little fun. The Norwood Twins are also delightful and great fun to listen too!” says Robbins, noting there is no fee to attend.

Studio Art House, located at 631 East Southlake Boulevard, offers a full schedule of art classes for adults and teenagers, summer art camps for children, art birthday parties, and art classes for Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. They also host professional workshops in oil painting, watercolor, fashion design, jewelry, clay sculpture and ceramics, and more.
