Pep Rally for Olympic Hopefuls

A pep rally is planned for Tuesday, June 19 for several current and former North Texas Nadadores including Carroll ISD alumni who are headed to this year’s Olympic Trials. The rally will be held at 5:30 p.m. inside the Carroll ISD Aquatics Center. The community is invited.

Current NTN team members Aaron Greene, Brett Ringgold, Jonathan Roberts and Ted Singley all qualified for the Olympic Trials. Also attending the trials are former Nadadores’  Katie Meili (Columbia University) and Claire Singley (Penn State).

Green qualified for the 100 and 200 Backstroke, Ringgold will compete in the 50 and 100 Freestyle, Roberts will swim in the 1500 Freestyle and 400 Individual Medley. Ted Singley will compete in the 400 freestyle, 200 fly and 1500 as well as the 200 Butterfly.

Meili (pictured left)  will compete in the 50 Freestyle, 100 and 200 Breaststroke as well as the 200 Individual Medley. Claire Singley (pictured right) will compete in the 400 Individual Medley.
