CISD Board Trustee Honored By Southlake Chamber

The Southlake Chamber of Commerce has recognized a member of the Carroll Independent School District School Board for his outstanding contributions to the community. Board Trustee Craig Rothmeier was awarded the Leadership Alumni of the Year award at the Annual Southlake Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet.

The award is given by the Chamber of Commerce to someone who has excelled in their occupation or career path. Rothmeier is regarded as a very viable member of the community who has taken on multiple leadership roles over the years.

Rothmeier has served as fundraising chair for Southlake 4 Japan in 2012, Big Brothers, Big Sisters volunteer, City of Southlake SPIN Representative and served as Carroll ISD School Board Secretary from 2005-2011. He is also a Leadership Southlake graduate, member of the North Texas Association of School Board Executive Committee and served as fundraising chair for Leadership Texas Association of School Boards.
