Organizers say the “Around the Block” will outfit over 1,000 children from the DFW Metroplex with brand new clothes. Each child receives $100 to spend that evening at Kohl’s along with a new pair of shoes from Buckner International. Over 400 volunteers are needed to help the families shop.
Southlake’s “Around the Block” is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 13 from 4-9 p.m. at the Kohl’s department store located at 3001 Texas Highway 114.
Volunteers can choose to help for a few hours or the entire event. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old. To volunteer for the event, visit http://mywebsitepronto.com/clients/kidsmatter/volunteer or contact Jill at firstname.lastname@example.org.
