Lady Dragons Roll To First Round Victory

The Carroll Lady Dragon volleyball team earned a school-record 45th victory of the season Tuesday night in the first round of the playoffs.

Carroll (45-3) knocked off North Crowley in straight sets — 25-11, 25-10, 25-6 — at Arlington Lamar High School in a Class 5A Bi-District playoff. The Lady Dragons now advance to face Amarillo Tascosa on Friday at 6 p.m. at Vernon High School in the area round. The Lady Dragons entered the playoffs coming off a perfect run to the championship in District 4-5A.
