Carroll Theatre Scores Another First

Carroll Theatre Department, in association with the Pleasant Grove Independent School District, is proud to present Ramin Karimloo in Concert.

Ramin Karimloo is an Iranian-born, Canadian vocalist and performer who has made a big impact on London’s West End. Known for his role as the Phantom in “The Phantom of the Opera” and Jean Valjean in “Les Misérables,” he has been critically acclaimed as one of, if not the greatest Phantoms of all time.  His role in the 25th Anniversary Concert of Phantom of The Opera at The Royal Albert Hall is currently being broadcast on PBS.

In 2010, Ramin originated the leading role in “Love Never Dies”, the sequel to “Phantom of the Opera,” for which he received an Olivier Award nomination. Ramin was honored with the Best Actor title in both the Broadwayworld.com and Whatsonstage.com awards.

Ramin will perform on Wednesday, Dec. 12 in the CSHS Auditorium, as the second leg of his Texas Tour promoting his solo album, “Human Heart”, available on iTunes and at Amazon (produced by Sony Master Works). Just before his concert,  Mr. Karimloo will also host a Master Class at CSHS with cast members of Carroll Theatre Department’s Legally Blonde The Musical.  In addition, Mr. Karimloo has graciously invited Carroll Theatre Department students to perform five numbers as his opening act for the evening’s performance.

Tickets are $35.50 and there are discounted group ticket rates available for groups with 15 people or more. To purchase tickets please visit the Carroll Theatre Department website at www.dragondrama.net
