Dragon Teams Fall In 4-5A Tuesday Action

Both Carroll Dragon basketball teams suffered losses on the road at Richland Tuesday in District 4-5A. The Lady Dragons fell 49-46 in their first 4-5A loss. Carroll (9-9, 2-1) nearly rallied for a comeback and tied the game in the fourth quarter. Read the game story on the Star-Telegram’s website. The Lady Dragons were led by Gretchen Morrison’s 16 points. Kami Mickens added 13. The Lady Dragons return to action Friday when they host Northwest.

The boys’ team fell at Richland 68-67 in the 4-5A opener. The Dragons (9-7, 0-1) were led by Cole Partyka’s 12 points, while Daniel Brown and Thomas Gilliatt each had 10 points.  Carroll also hosts Northwest on Friday.
