Courtside With Carroll Hoops: Kennedy Leonard

The Carroll Dragon boys’ and girls’ basketball teams continue with early non-district action as their seasons recently got underway. The Dragons defeated Abilene 75-70 last Thursday and reached the final of the Frenship Tournament and the Lady Dragons defeated Ursuline 68-36.

Recently, Carroll ISD Communications intern Sebastian Becerra caught up with Lady Dragon guard Kennedy Leonard following the team’s Nov. 20 victory against Pflugerville.The Lady Dragons open District 4-5A play as they host Keller Timber Creek at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Carroll Senior High School.

Meanwhile, the Dragons host Frisco Wakeland at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
