Dragon Performers Advance to All State

Carroll ISD Band Director Jay Bach recently announced the selection of Neha Jain and Danielle Rodriguez for their selection to the Texas Music Educators All State Band and Choir.

The students were selected after successful performances at the Area A Audition held on Saturday, Jan. 12 in Abilene. The audition process began last fall with upwards to 25, 000 students at the region audition level.

Jain and Rodriguez join Jared Neeley, All State Jazz trombone, in February at the TMEA Clinic and Convention held in San Antonio.

All three students are also members of Green Jackets. The Green Jackets are a select group of student ambassadors, selected by faculty, to represent Carroll ISD in various district and civic capacities.
