The Carroll Dragons controlled their own destiny in the regular season finale Tuesday night at CSHS. The Dragons routed Keller Timber Creek 70-49 and earned one of the four playoff berths in District 4-5A. It also marked a playoff berth for Eric McDade in his first year as head coach. The Dragons were powered by a 19-0 run in the first half.

Entering the fourth quarter, the Dragons had rebounded and held at 25-point lead. Carroll (19-13) was led by Daniel Brown’s game-high 23 points. Brett Jolly added 13 and Hunter Summy had eight. Carroll finished tied for third in district with Northwest and won the seeding coin flip and will be the district’s No. 3 seed.

Carroll will face Arlington Martin in a Class 5A bi-district playoff at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Saginaw High School.
