Dragon Baseball Remains Undefeated In District

The Carroll Dragon baseball team continues to lead District 4-5A after defeating Richland last Friday. The Dragons are 3-0 in 4-5A and upended Richland 7-0 in eight innings. Carroll, ranked No. 4 in the state by the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association, moved to 15-2 overall. Left-handed ace Tyler Alexander earned the victory on the mound and third baseman Kenny Hill had two doubles and a triple. The Dragons scored seven runs in the top of the eighth.

Carroll hosts Northwest at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Dragon Field on Walnut Grove Elementary School Night. Also, Dragon coach Larry Hughes will be seeking his 500th career victory. Follow the Dragons live online all season here.

WGES will be recognized Tuesday, March 19 at 7 p.m. All WGES students wearing a WGES or Dragon T-shirt will be admitted free. Please note, all adults must pay the gate fee per UIL rules. Students should check in at the WGES check-in table at the front gate. 

Play It Forward Southlake
The Dragon Varsity baseball team is collecting gently-used baseball equipment to donate to Play It Forward Southlake. All fans donating a piece of equipment will be entered into a drawing for a prize. A Play It Forward Southlake collection barrel will be available at all home games. Please look for the barrel and a student representative at the entrance gate to donate equipment and receive a raffle ticket.
