Dragon Teams Play Under The Lights Tuesday

The Carroll Dragon baseball team and Lady Dragon softball team will play under the lights Tuesday, March 12. A celebration of this historic night will be held and both teams will be recognized before the game. Both teams will play District 4-5A games at 7 p.m. side-by-side at the baseball-softball fields.

Preview the game program and the night’s sponsors.

It will also be Johnson Elementary School night at the baseball game.

All Johnson Elementary School students, parents, faculty and staff will be recognized on opening night at the game. A section of the bleachers will be reserved for Johnson Elementary. All JES students wearing a JES shirt will be admitted free and receive a complimentary bag of popcorn. Please note, parents must pay the gate fee per UIL rules. All JES students attending the game will be allowed on the field for the first pitch. All JES students will have the opportunity to submit an answer to a Dragon baseball trivia question. The names of the students with the correct answer will put into a drawing for a prize.

Fans donating a gently used piece of baseball equipment (no baseballs please) to Play It Forward Southlake will be entered into a drawing for a prize. Varsity baseball players will also sign autographs after the game. At the end of the baseball season, the school with the most students attending their featured game will receive a framed team pennant signed by the varsity baseball team.
