Lady Dragon Softball Dumps Keller 8-5

KELLER – The Carroll Lady Dragons earned one of their biggest wins of the season on the road Tuesday. The Lady Dragons knocked off perennial power Keller 8-5.

The Lady Dragons improved to 16-4 and 4-1 in District 4-5A as Alex Schneider led the team on the mound. The loss dropped Keller to 4-1 in district. Carroll jumped out to a 5-1 lead after three innings and 8-2 after five as they scored runs in the first five frames. Schneider also led the team with four hits and three RBI. Carroll returns to action Friday when it hosts Fossil Ridge at 5:30 p.m.
