Soccer Update: Lady Dragons Clinch 4-5A Championship

The Carroll Lady Dragon soccer team has clinched the District 4-5A title and two games remain before the state playoffs. Carroll (22-2, 11-1 in 4-5A) plays at Fossil Ridge on Tuesday and hosts Haltom Friday to conclude the regular season. Both games start at 7:30 p.m. Keller is in second place in district at 8-3-1. Sophie Groff leads the team with 23 goals and Julia Dyche leads the team with 15 assists.

Dragon Return To First Place
The Carroll Dragons have rebounded and hold a slight edge on first place in District 4-5A. The Dragons are 8-2-2 in district, just ahead of second-place Keller, which is 8-3-1. Carroll has won back-to-back district games against Northwest (3-0) and Keller (1-0) to move into first. The Dragons host Fossil Ridge on Tuesday and finish district play Friday at Haltom. Both games start at 7 p.m.
