Southlake National Day of Prayer

Press Release – Several Southlake organizations are coming together to observe the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 2, 2013, from 6-7 p.m. at Rustin Pavilion in Southlake Town Square.

Come join us in the evening to unite with city officials, local pastors, clergy, friends, and family in prayer for our nation, state, city, leaders, and our Southlake Carroll ISD schools and other local schools.  The theme for this year’s event is, “In His name the nations will put their hope.”

We are encouraging the citizens to come together in prayer for divine intervention in our own lives and the lives of our children. Our hope is that this will begin a lifestyle of prayer in the city, which will transform the lives of those in Southlake and surrounding cities.

Almost every Southlake church will be involved in this special evening National Day of Prayer event, leading us in prayer and worship. There will also be specific stations for us to pray together for our kids in each of the Carroll ISD schools and surrounding schools.

For more information, contact Clayton Reed at Southlake Baptist Church – (817) 912-1234 or e-mail caly@southlakebaptist.com.
