Save the Date: National Day of Prayer

Several Southlake organizations are coming together to observe the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 2 from 6-7 p.m. at Rustin Pavilion in Southlake Town Square.

Organizers invite the community to join them in uniting with city officials, local pastors, clergy, friends, and family in prayer for our nation, state, city, leaders, and our Southlake Carroll ISD schools and other local schools.  The theme for this year’s event is, “In his name the nations will put their hope.”

Citizens are encouraged to come together in prayer for divine intervention in their own lives and the lives of all children. Organizers say their hope is that this will begin a lifestyle of prayer in the city, which will transform the lives of those in Southlake and surrounding cities.

Almost every Southlake church will be involved in this special evening National Day of Prayer event, leading us in prayer and worship. There will also be specific stations for us to pray together for our kids in each of the Carroll ISD schools and surrounding schools.
