Dragon Baseball Playoffs Start Thursday

The Carroll Dragons, ranked No. 4 in the state, begin the Class 5A playoffs Thursday.

The Dragons (26-4) face Arlington Lamar in a Region I bi-district best-of-three playoff series. Carroll is coming off a District 4-5A championship and earned the district’s top seed. Lamar is the No. 4 seed from District 3-5A. The Dragons ended the district season last Friday with a 10-6 home victory against Haltom. Carroll will host Game 1 and Game 3 (if necessary).
