Carroll ISD Campus Teachers of the Year To Be Recognized

The Carroll ISD Administration will formally recognize this year’s Campus Teachers of the Year at the district’s annual End of Year Celebration scheduled for 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22 at Carroll Senior High School. The celebration brings together all Dragon employees for an afternoon of awards and celebrations marking the end of the school year.

Every year, each of Carroll ISD’s eleven schools selects one teacher who best represents the district’s mission vision and values throughout the school year. Teachers were chosen by their co-workers. This year’s K-6 Teacher of the Year and Secondary Teacher of the Year will be announced at the End of Year Awards Celebration. To compete for this recognition, each of the Campus Teachers of the Year must complete a comprehensive award application. An awards committee, made up of district employees, parents and School Board Trustees will select the top two individuals to represent the district in the Region XI Teacher of the Year contest.

The End of Year Celebration will be emceed by Superintendent Dr. David Faltys and will include CISD Administration and members of the Board of Trustees. The event is made possible by businesses and individuals that contribute Carroll ISD’s We Care program and district sponsors Central Market Southlake and Park Place Motors.
