Southlake Women's Club School Supply Sale Set August 10

The Southlake Women’s Club is hosting the annual School Supply Sale on Saturday, August 10. The sale will take place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Carroll High School located at 800 N. White Chapel Blvd.

The Southlake Women’s Club is in need of teens searching for community service hours to volunteer to work at the sale. The shifts will last for two hours each, beginning at 6:30 a.m. Adult volunteers are also needed at the sale. To sign up, go to http://signupschedule.com/artinthesquare.

This school supply sale is an opportunity for parents to purchase the approved CISD school supplies tax-free and in one convenient location. The schools participating in the sale will receive the money raised from the sale. Participating schools include Carroll Elementary, Johnson Elementary, Old Union Elementary, Walnut Grove Elementary, Durham Intermediate, Eubanks Intermediate, Carroll Middle School and Dawson Middle School.

This annual sale has raised over $300,000, all of which is distributed back to participating schools. The schools use these funds to provide necessary materials for curriculum enrichment.
