Young Dragon Stars As American Girl

Southlake resident and Carroll ISD student Sidney Fullmer is starring in the feature film “An American Girl: Saige Paints the Sky” as Saige Copeland, American Girl’s popular 2013 Girl of the Year. Moms, girls and their favorite dolls are invited to a special premiere on Monday, July 8 at Harkins Theatres Southlake 14.

“An American Girl: Saige Paints the Sky” is American Girl’s newest feature-length movie from Universal Studios Home Entertainment. The movie, coming to DVD and Blu-Ray in July, stars Jane Seymour as Saige’s Grandma Mimi and introduces Dawson Middle School student Sidney Fullmer as Saige. Sidney plays the American Girl who is a talented artist with a passion for horses and finding her voice.

Southlake Style, The Tommy Pennington Realty Group and Harkins Theatres have partnered with the film and its actors to provide a special event in honor of Southlake’s star. Those who attend the event will experience a red carpet style affair where they will have the opportunity to see the film before it is released and meet Sidney Fullmer and her three co-stars: Alex Peters, Mika Abdalla and Alana Gordillo.

Tickets are already available and selling quickly for this exclusive event. Premiere coordinators have promised 100% of the proceeds to benefit local children’s charities, including the GRACE Feed Our Kids Program.
