Dragons Claim NHSCA Postal National Title

Carroll Dragon long distance runners recently added a prestigious honor. The Dragons won the National High School Coaches Association Postal National Distance Team Championship.

The event is a five-man team average of 3,200 meter performances that were required to be recorded by June 15. Carroll’s 9:07 team average earned the title and the Dragons recorded the third-best time recorded time ever and fastest in over three decades. The Dragons set the national 5×5,000 meter national record with a time of 15:17.35 at the Texas Distance Festival.
