Bob Jones Nature Center Hosts Rainwater Collection Class

Texas is literally running out of water. Our population is rapidly growing beyond what our water suppliers can handle.  Conserving this precious resource is a necessity, forcing us all to water smarter.  Adding a rain barrel can help conserve natural resources and reduce storm run-off.

In this class, you’ll learn how to choose and install a rain barrel and how to make smarter landscaping choices.  Plus Joyce will cover the three worst watering mistakes and how to avoid them.  By using these best practices, Texans can stretch our water resources.

Time:  5:30 pm
Dates:  Wednesday, September 11, 2013
