Dragon Sports News: Football Gears For Homecoming

The Carroll Dragon football team returns to action Friday when it hosts Keller Central for Homecoming. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. The Dragons are coming off their bye week and this marks the start of District 4-5A play. Carroll is 2-1 and Keller Central is 1-2.

After Friday, the Dragons hit the road for three consecutive games at Keller Timber Creek, Richland and Northwest. The Dragons recently returned to the Associated Press Class 5A Top 10 and are now No. 9 in the state.

Lady Dragons Keep Rolling
The Lady Dragon volleyball team, ranked No. 1 in the state, defeated Northwest on Tuesday, 3-0. Carroll improved to 32-1 and remains undefeated at 4-0 in first place in District 4-5A.

Carroll Tennis Wins Again
The Dragon tennis team continued its hot streak and knocked off Keller Timber Creek 18-1. The next match for the Dragons will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Highland Park. Carroll improved to 13-2 overall and 6-0 in District 4-5A.
