Seniors Joey Donoian and Kristine Lahde, both four-year Carroll Theatre Department veterans, have utilized their strong friendship to win fabulous roles as Javert and Eponine, respectively, in the upcoming musical production of Les Miserables
“We met during our first Carroll Theatre production, freshman year, and we’ve been best friends ever since. Throughout the struggle and drama high school can bring, we have always been there for each other, and are each other’s biggest supporters,” said Joey.
Kristine agrees, “Working on Les Mis together has seriously been a dream come true for us. It’s one of our favorite musicals and we could not be more excited about it!”
Joey is planning on studying musical theatre in New York City, while Kristine planes on pursuing film in LA.
Both seniors will audition for college placement in Musical Theatre and Acting in mid-November at the North Texas Auditions.
