Dragons Hit Road Again, Face Richland

The Carroll Dragons play their second of three consecutive District 4-5A road games Friday at Richland. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. at BISD Fine Arts/Athletics Complex in North Richland Hills.

The Dragons are tied with Fossil Ridge for the district lead at 2-0. Carroll, which has won four consecutive games,  is averaging 52.8 points per game and is the second-highest scoring team in the area. The No. 8-ranked Dragons are led offensively by first-year starting quarterback Ryan Agnew, who has rushed for 13 TDs and throw for 1,195 yards and 10 TDs. The offense is averaging 508 yards per game.

Defensively, the Dragons have been just as impressive. Carroll has allowed just 10 in district victories against Keller Central and Timber Creek. Richland enters the game 2-3 overall and 1-1 in district.
