Dragon Football Playoff Run Ends Against Trinity

ARLINGTON – The Carroll Dragons ran into a team they couldn’t slow down in the playoffs.

The Trinity Trojans upended the Dragons in a wild back-and-forth Class 5A Divsion I region semifinal 42-38 last Saturday at AT&T Stadium before more than 20,000 fans. Carroll finished the year 11-2 and had it’s 11-game win streak ended.

Carroll junior quarterback Ryan Agnew had an impressive performance going 39-for-48 with 449 yards and three TDs. He also rushed for 67 yards on 13 carries. Receiver Luke Timian shined finishing with 13 catches for 219 yards and two TDs. Keaton Duhon had 11 catches for 105 yards. Both teams accounted for more than 500 yards of offense. Trinity rushed for 446 yards on 52 carries.
