Carroll Teams Hosting Wounded Warrior Benefit Tournament

Carroll Lady Dragon Softball and Dragon Baseball will be host the 2nd annual slow pitch softball tournament benefiting the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team ( www.woundedwarrioramputeesoftballteam.com) on Saturday and Sunday Jan. 25-26. The Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team is comprised of servicemen who have lost limbs in the line of duty.

The entire Wounded Warrior team is coming to Southlake’s Bob Jones Softball Complex to play local teams, including teams consisting of area high school girls softball and boys baseball players (including lady Dragon softball and Dragon baseball players), local girls fastpitch teams and a local celebrity team.

The tournament will consist of pool games on Saturday and a single-elimination tournament on Sunday. Admission is $5 per person per day. All proceeds from entry fees, admission, and concessions will be donated to the Wounded Warrior team, a 501(c)(3) charity.
