UPDATED: Orange Barrel Alert: Reconstruction of 2000-2100 Block Continental Blvd. Begins 3/24

Starting Monday March 24th, 2014, Southlake Public Works will begin the reconstruction of the 2000-2100 Blocks of Continental Blvd.

On Tuesday April 1st and Wednesday April  2nd between the hours of 8:30 am and 3:00 pm., it will be necessary to temporarily close the intersection of Crooked Lane at Continental Boulevard periodically through out the day to prevent vehicles from tracking through wet cement-related materials. Southlake Public Works Crews will work diligently to complete this process to reopen the intersection as quickly as possible. City personnel will be stationed at the intersections of Brookshire Drive and Crooked Lane and Continental Blvd. and Crooked Lane to redirect traffic during intersection  closures.

This project’s expected completion date is April 17th, 2014, weather permitting.

This reconstruction project addresses the Citizen Satisfaction Survey focus area of maintaining local streets and roads.
