Help Keep Southlake Beautiful at the annual Great American Cleanup- May 17, 2014

GACTexasLogoOn Saturday, May 17th, the City of Southlake will be hosting the annual Great American Cleanup workday, a local extension of Keep America Beautiful’s nationwide Great American Cleanup initiative. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Bob Jones Park Day Camp and the cleanup will be held from 9:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. All cleanup supplies will be provided. Lunch will be provided for volunteers at 12:00 p.m.

The City of Southlake is looking for volunteers to help clean up the trail system at the Bob Jones Nature Center & Preserve. All individuals, families, groups, organizations and businesses are welcome to participate. The Great American Cleanup is one of the nation’s largest community improvement initiatives. Millions of volunteers come together for this annual event to cleanup and beautify their communities.
