Dragon Golfers Earn State Runnerup Finish

The Carroll Dragon and Lady Dragon golfers completed impressive seasons on Tuesday.

The top finisher at the Class 5A state tournament was the Dragon “Black” team. They finished as the 5A state runnerup with a total of 159. Sophomore Mason Greenberg led the team with a 140 total after shooting 72 and 68. Colin Hamilton was two strokes behind at 142. The Dragons finished four strokes behind state champion Austin Westlake.

The Dragon “Green” team finished fourth overall.

The Lady Dragons finished seventh at the state tournament.
