Lady Dragon Softball Hosts Northwest Tuesday

Lady Dragon pitcher Alex Schneider threw a two-hit shutout last Tuesday against Keller Timber Creek in a 3-0 victory.

Tuesday produces a key District 4-5A matchup for the Carroll Lady Dragon softball team. The Lady Dragons host Northwest at 5:30 p.m. at Carroll Senior High School. Carroll needs a victory to stay in the hunt for a playoff berth.

The Lady Dragons fell 8-1 to Richland last Friday to fall to 5-5 in district play. Four games remain in district play and the top four teams advance to the playoffs.
