City Council to Canvass Vote & Hold Service Celebration Reception

The Southlake City Council will conduct a special meeting on Monday, May 19th for the purpose of canvassing the 2014 City Council election results and administering the oath of office to the the newly-elected candidates.

The meeting will take place at 5:30 p.m. in the Town Hall Council Chamber, 1400 Main Street.  Mr. Shahid Shafi will be sworn in for Place 1 and Mr. Gary Fawks will be sworn in for Place 6.

On Tuesday May 20th the Council will hold a service celebration reception for Deputy Mayor Pro Tem and Place 6 Council member Pamela A. Muller and Place 1 Council member Martin Schelling.  The reception will take place in the Town Hall Foyer starting at 5:30 p.m.  The public is invited to attend.

Following the reception the Council will hold its May 20, 2014, Council meeting.  The agenda for that meeting will be available Friday afternoon on the City’s website: CityofSouthlake.com.
