As part of the Phase II, N. Kimball Ave. Roadway Improvement Project, the side roads along the east side of Kimball will be temporarily closed due to a traffic switch on to the newly placed permanent southbound concrete lanes. The road closure is required for the demolition, subgrade preparation and temporary paving of the intersections and to connect them to the new lanes. The streets impacted are: Patterson Way, Yeargain Ct., Shady Lane, Cripple Creek Trail, Tumbleweed Trail and Panhandle Drive.
The traffic switch will take place Monday, May 19 as barricades are relocated to allow traffic on to the new pavement. The above mentioned streets will not have access to the new pavement until the demolition and temporary pavement are put in place. Patterson Way, Yeargain Ct., Shady Lane and Panhandle Drive are the critical streets and will require closures between 9am to 3pm. All streets are expected to be opened back up to traffic by the end of the day
