Davis Named New K-6 ELA Curriculum Coordinator

Meredith Davis was approved as Carroll ISD’s new K-6 Curriculum Coordinator for English Language Arts & Social Studies.

The Carroll ISD School Board approved the hiring of Meredith Davis as the new K-6 Curriculum Coordinator of English/Language Arts & Social Studies at Monday’s meeting.

Davis has worked nine years in public education and previously taught third grade at Carroll Elementary School. Davis started in the district as a 4th grade writing tutor at Old Union Elementary and has served on several committees, including textbook adoption. She also served as grade level team leader.

She earned her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from TCU in May 2006 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from TCU as well.
