FRESHMAN FOOTBALL

Football season is around the corner and it’s time to start preparing. There are plenty of opportunities for all student-athletes with all incoming skill level. There are a couple of reminders and suggestions below for parents and players before the start of the 2014 school year. If you are a parent of a football player and have not received any email communications from your head coach in regard to the 2014-2015 football season, please email CISD.Athletics@southlakecarroll.edu.

Make sure you have enrolled in football, which is double-blocked as the first period of each day. If you are a multisport athlete, it is important to enroll in football rather than a different sport because football is the sport with the first season. If you or anyone you know has yet to sign up but wants to be a part of the Dragon Football Family, it is not too late. Every athlete, grades 7-12, must complete all the UIL required forms to be eligible to participate. This Sports Participation Packet must be completed online at: http://southlakecarroll.rankonesport.com. The athlete’s student number is necessary to have while completing these forms.

If you are not interested in football but like to record videos and memorize stats, then you can join the team in that capacity.
