Shop for the Holidays and Enjoy Special Music from Africa at the Southlake Senior Center Hobby & Craft Show on November 14th

Hobby ShowThe Southlake Senior Center Hobby & Craft Show is a great place to jump start on holiday shopping. Local vendors will be be showcasing holiday favorites and you will also find homemade creations and treats from our seniors. The whole family is invited to attend this exciting annual event on Friday, November 14th at the Southlake Senior Activity Center. The show will be open from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

There will be special music to enjoy while you shop. The Imani Milele Children’s Choir  from Africa is stopping in Southlake as part of their HOPE for Uganda 2014 US Tour. The Imani Milele Children’s Choir is made up of orphaned children that are beneficiaries of the good work of the Imani Milele Children’s Program.  Imani is a non-profit organization based out of Kampala, Uganda, focused on rescuing and developing orphaned and at-risk children, impacting them with Christian values, and enabling them to transform society. The group will showcase their “Pearl of Africa” performance.
