Get ready for another grand opening in Southlake as the new Fresh Market store prepares to open it’s doors at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 14th. The 25,000-square-foot grocery is located right next to the new REI in the Park Village Shopping Center at Southlake Boulevard and Carroll Avenue.
Fresh Market is just one of many stores slated to open this year. The City of Southlake continues to flourish with new construction and lots of new businesses cropping up one by one. Other businesses that are coming to Park Village include Luke’s Locker, Potbelly, RA Sushi, Gloria’s restaurant, The Lash Lounge, and Gigi’s Cupcakes just to name a few.
What can you expect to find at Fresh Market? The store sells high-quality, distinctive foods. The Southlake store’s grand opening will include chef demonstrations and drawings, and the store’s first 1,000 customers will get a shopping tote with a coffee sample.
Getting to the new Fresh Market store will be easy. Simply look for one of three entrances into the new Park Village Shopping Center from Southlake Boulevard, Tower Boulevard or Carroll Avenue. In addition, the Office of Traffic Management will have extra police officers patrolling the area to ensure shoppers have easy access into and out of the new shopping center.
Some of the stores in Park Village are still under construction but there should be ample designated parking spaces available. Patrol Lieutenant Ashleigh Douglas says, “Our goal is to keep traffic congestion to a minimum and to ensure that drivers do not park illegally; thereby blocking access to emergency vehicles.”
Fresh Market is one of several market concept grocery stores in Northeast Tarrant County. In Southlake it joins Central Market just down the street and Trader Joe’s, which is expected to open February 20th at Southlake Town Square.
