Around the Horn: Dragons Remain Undefeated

BaseballLightsThe Carroll Dragon baseball team is off to a hot start. The Dragons are 11-0 and coming off a 4-0 victory against Arlington Heights.

The Dragons were led at home Tuesday night by starting pitcher Matthew Canterino, who had 14 strikeouts in a complete-game outing. Catcher Nic Motley had three RBI for the Dragons.  The Dragons have allowed two or fewer runs in their last seven games.

Carroll returns to action Friday against Midlothian at Dallas Baptist University. First pitch is at 7 p.m. The Dragons return home next Tuesday to host rival Coppell at 7 p.m. to open District 7-6A play.

Lady Dragon Softball on Winning Streak
The Lady Dragon softball team has won three consecutive games and hosts Trinity at 7:15 p.m. Friday at Lady Dragon Field. Carroll is 7-5 overall and defeated Coppell 15-5 in District 7-6A play on March 11.
